Best Seafood Shacks on Cape Cod

Cape Cod is known for its fresh seafood, from oysters and clams to lobsters and fin fish. We think one of the defining moments of any Cape Cod vacation involves fresh seafood eaten while overlooking the water. Of course everyone has an opinion on which clam shack is the best, so we're here to help you narrow down the options. Next time you're staying at one of our hotels, visit the best seafood shacks on Cape Cod for a signature Cape Cod culinary experience.

Seafood Sam's | 6 Coast Guard Rd, Sandwich | (508) 888-4629

If you need a seafood shack as soon as you hit Cape Cod, Seafood Sam's in Sandwich is the best bet. First opened in 1974, Sam's has been serving families some of the best seafood on Cape Cod ever since. With plates piled high with clam strip, french fries, and fried shrimp, this seafood shack delivers on quality and quantity. There's plenty of lighter options, like salads topped with lobster, for those not interested in fried food and even non-seafood options as well.

Jim's Clam Shack | 227 Clinton Ave, Falmouth | (508) 540-7758

With its location right on the water, Jim's is the best place to enjoy seafood outside in Falmouth. Taking over the spot of the former Clam Shack of Falmouth, Jim's has big shoes to fill, but continues the tradition of serving fresh and local seafood. Fried clams, shrimp, and lobster rolls are popular items here, with the view of Falmouth Harbor making every bite taste all that much better.

Mojo's | 5 Ryder St, Provincetown | (508) 487-3140

This P'town institution has been serving up fried seafood and fast food classics since 1973. Provincetown native Courtney Hurst purchased the business in 2016 and continues the tradition. Fried fish sandwiches, clam strips, and onion "chunks" or petals are popular here, with its location near the Pilgrim Monument and MacMillan Pier providing a scenic backdrop to one of the best seafood shacks on Cape Cod.
