Blind Tiger Guest House

WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE

Blind Tiger Portland is a one-of-a-kind guest house and social gathering space spread across a pair of updated nineteenth-century homes. Located in the heart of one of the country's most happening small cities, this is far more than your standard boutique hotel. Blind Tiger is designed to make you feel like a true Portlander. With the help of some of the city’s most influential tastemakers, Blind Tiger’s local hosts provide access to unique perspectives on how to best explore Portland, Maine.

Each room at Blind Tiger comes with a letter of recommendations from the room's host—from dining to drinking, shopping, adventures... we'll show you places the average tourist doesn't know about yet. Our Danforth location offers hosted service and communal gathering moments, while Carleton provides a more independent, self-guided stay with an invisible service model and 24/7 text-line support—perfect for travelers who prefer to explore on their own terms. Staying at Blind Tiger will allow you to escape the guesswork and enjoy the journey.

OUR CAREFULLY CURATED GUIDE MADE JUST FOR YOU

Both houses at Blind Tiger are located just a short walk away from everything this cool little city has to offer. While our West End neighborhood features the best of Portland in terms of shopping, dining, art and culture (and all within walking distance of each guest house!) each specific location also has its own unique local highlights.

At Danforth Street, find yourself within a few short blocks of the waterfront and creative cocktail bars, and at Carleton Street discover some of the city's best brunch spots. Our curated guide has all our favorite highlights to make your stay as immersive, cultural, and delicious as possible.
