Two-night reservations are required on most weekends, with a three-night minimum required for major holiday weekends and during peak season. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay. Every morning from 8:30am to 10am at our Danforth location, we serve a complimentary toast-bar breakfast (various breads, quinoa, oats, yogurt, and more with plenty of unique seasonal toppings) in our dining room for guests to help themselves at their leisure.
Mornings at Carleton start with a thoughtfully curated breakfast basket, delivered at your preferred time. Each day, enjoy a rotating selection of protein oats, Greek yogurt, or chia pudding, along with a fresh pastry and seasonal fruit. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in our dining room.

Carleton is a screen-free sanctuary, inviting you to unplug and unwind. Step into our peaceful garden, explore our wellness library or indulge in self-care at Health Resonates, a top-rated spa just a five-minute walk away. For a more active recharge, take a class at Hustle and Flow right down the block. Danforth however, does offer TVs with streaming services.

Yes, we do! Danforth offers 8 numbered guest spots. Carleton is currently street parking only while work is being done on our usual parking area. Both guesthouses are first come, first serve for our limited on-site spots.

While we welcome Service Animals, unfortunately, pets, including emotional support animals, are not permitted at our hotel. We are happy to recommend nearby kennels for use during your stay.

While Blind Tiger is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in most of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. At this time, we do not offer rollaway beds or cribs. Please note our additional per person fees described below. Blind Tiger's guest rooms (except Bon Viveur) are only able to accommodate a total of two (2) guests max. Up to four (4) guests can be accommodated in the Bon Viveur room. Additional guests above 2 are subject to a $50 per person, per night rate increase. (Children and infants do qualify as extra guests.)

Blind Tiger on Danforth Street is committed to accommodating the needs of all our guests and strives to provide as accessible a lodging experience as possible. As this Guest House is located in a historic Portland building, it may present accessibility challenges. There is no elevator, and all guest rooms require at least one flight of stairs to access. Due to the historic nature of the property, it does not meet current ADA accessibility requirements.
