Pets are permitted in the Garden Suite, our designated pet-friendly guest room only, at the additional rate of $50 per dog, per night. Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, they must never be left in a guest room alone, and are permitted only on our porches and exterior common areas of the hotel, and only while on a leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces. As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee per night if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly, or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.

While The Hotel Portsmouth is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in most of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. Please note our additional per person fees described below.

All rooms have a queen or king-sized bed and are comfortable for up to two (2) persons. Five of our rooms can accommodate more than two persons at a rate of $50 per person per night.
