Shining Sea Bikeway

Shining Sea Bikeway 2.6 miles

Falmouth’s famous scenic Shining Sea Bikeway meanders through marshes, along stretches of beaches, and through Cape pines and cranberry bogs. The path runs for over ten miles, from the Woods Hole Ferry terminal in Woods Hole to North Falmouth.

    Hike out to The Knob in Woods Hole for a sunset and gorgeous views (just 3 miles away, you can drive to the trailhead or use our bikes).

    Lined with boutiques, gift shops, and great bakeries and restaurants, Falmouth's Main Street offers the most charming village stroll on the Cape.

    Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard (just a 5 minute drive from the hotel) for the day. Explore quaint harbor towns and lighthouses, sandy beaches, and old-world charmed farmlands.
