Cork Wine Bar features wine tastings, as well as locally curated small and large plates featuring tastes of the seasons. Some our favorite plates: Burrata served with red pepper, pesto, smoked paprika oil, grilled Elmore mountain bread, and their burger served with pimento cheese, dill relish, pepper & onion, arugula, garlic aioli, dirty potatoes. It’s time to indulge!

This popular casual restaurant and bar is from the same folks behind the acclaimed Hen of the Wood. Find classic favorites like dry rub wings, toasted ham and cheese, and smash burgers, as well as elevated plates like their chicken liver mousse made with pickled shallots, mustard, local grain bread, and their daily fish made with heirloom tomatoes, corn, cucumber salad, garlic scape pesto cheddar

Featuring in-house brewed beer and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Idletyme is close to the mountain and a great choice for lunch on active days of skiing or hiking. Offering tasty shared plates and meat and cheese platters, as well as a variety of salads and entrees, Idletyme is a good option for families and groups.

Their modern yet rustic space feels like a quintessentially Vermont dining experience, but is kicked up a notch to truly celebrate its inspired California aesthetic. From their tuna tartare made with grilled avocado, quail egg, house ponzu and sriracha, to their grilled pork chop with black bean puree and corn succotash, you’ll undoubtedly be impressed.

One of our favorites, and a perfect reason to venture just outside of Stowe. BHAV is the perfect place when you're in need of some serious rest and relaxation during your Stowe visit.

If you’re looking for comfort food, pile into a bench at The Bench. In this rustic wood paneled spot, you’ll find classic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and 22 craft beers from the Green Mountain state and beyond on tap. Wine, cocktails, and cordials are also available.

Brewed at the von Trapp Family Lodge, von Trapp's beers take inspiration from styles popular in Austria—crisp, clean lagers. Few craft breweries choose to make lagers, due to their longer brew time, so fans of them will love the large selection here. But for the beer drinkers who can't go without hops, don't despair—there's even an India Pale Lager. Enjoy an afternoon in the lodge's bierhall with an Austrian-inspired menu of hearty pub fare.

With all of the great breweries in town, it's awesome to have the option for something a little different...cue Stowe Cider. Offering a "Core Lineup" of ciders, as well as some barrel-aged options and seasonal ciders, Stowe Cider is only a short drive from our hotel.

When it's winter in Stowe and you're in need of gear, AJ's is the place to go. They not only offer ski and board rentals, but they're also stocked with a variety of men and women's clothing and footwear.

This trendy coffee shop offers a variety of coffee drinks made with locally roasted beans, as well as a selection of craft beers and light fare.

Walk into Cold Hollow and take in the delightful aroma of warm cider donuts and freshly pressed apple cider. Wander over the Press Viewing Room to see apples become cider or stop by the Honey Bee Corner to watch bees making honey. Should you need a snack or just a souvenir, The Luncheonette stocks an assortment of organic Vermont apple products. Looking for more of an adult experience? Make the trip further into town to Stowe Cider where you can indulge in a flight of ciders or fill up a growler with your favorite variety.

Coffee buffs rejoice, as The Roastery is your Stowe spot for coffee.  Offering a wide variety of coffee, all roasted in-house,  The Roastery was inspired by the small town feel and gorgeous landscape provided by Stowe.

For those looking to explore Stowe at a lower altitude, walk the mostly flat path of the Stowe Recreation Path. You'll be able to take in spectacular views of Stowe and area mountains and have access to many of the areas restaurants and shops. An entrance to the path is located just down the street.
