There may be times of the year, special events, or weekends with minimum night stay requirements. For example, Saturday-Night-Only stays are not available for advance booking until 48 hours prior to arrival, and most cottages require weeklong stays for peak summer. These things may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.”

Effective February 1, 2024 - For any reservation cancellation (excluding any bookings made on a non-refundable rate), we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival in order to receive your deposit back less a $25 cancellation fee. If any cancellation is made within 7 days of your stay, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable (though you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place).

Yes! At all Bluebird by Lark properties, we believe road trips are better with the whole family, including the four-legged ones! For $45 per night, up to two dogs of any size are welcome to join your stay, and if you're an On a Lark Member, your dog fee will be waived! . We’ll provide in-room use of food and water bowls, a paw towel, and a special take-home treat for your pup. Because adventures are meant to be shared.
Dog policies:
- Dogs are the only pets allowed, and they must never be left in a guest room alone.
- While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are permitted only in the exterior common areas, and they must stay on leash. Dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces.
- As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.

Our amenity fee at Bluebird Ocean Point Inn provides our guests with exclusive property amenities and offerings when visiting us in East Boothbay! Included in this daily fee for each booked room: Guest-only access to our outdoor pool, ocean front picnic tables, complementary parking, complementary high speed wi-fi, outdoor and pool games, as well as our outdoor fire pits.

Bluebird Ocean Point Inn has one (1) fully ADA accessible guest room, Oceanfront King w/ Porch Accessible. The room is handicap accessible with a roll-in shower and a handicap ramp. Before booking a reservation, please note that many of our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to the historic nature of the property. None of our buildings have elevators, and all guest rooms are accessed via four to fourteen steps. However, some rooms are more accessible than others. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (207) 633-4200, and our team would be happy to help you select a room that fits your needs.
