  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Effective February 1, 2024 - For any reservation cancellation (excluding any bookings made on a non-refundable rate), we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival in order to receive your deposit back less a $25 cancellation fee. If any cancellation is made within 7 days of your stay, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable (though you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place).

  • How do I make a reservation?
    Reservations by telephone are taken between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and online anytime by clicking on the “Check Rates / Book Now” link.
  • Why is the rooms page showing me no available rooms for my selected date(s)?

    Some dates may be held for "minimum night stays" meaning two- or three-night reservations are required. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” Interested in a shorter stay? Please call us directly at (207) 967-2117 to see if we can accommodate.

  • Do you offer breakfast?
    Yes! Each morning, awake to our complimentary artisanal toast bar. Help yourself to a sampling of savory and sweet breads and pastries, accompanied by plenty of spreads, and toppings (think cream cheeses, hummus, jams, granola, honey, bacon bits, pea shoots)! Enjoy as much as you like—and then come back for more! We add in yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, and tea to set you up for a day of exploring Kennebunkport.
  • Do you offer WiFi and what's the password?
    Yes! Lark Hotels is delighted to offer free high-speed WiFi at all of our properties, and you will receive information about logging in at check-in.
  • What is there to do in the area during my stay?
    No matter the time of year, there's always something fun to do in Kennebunkport and the surrounding coastal area. Lucky for you, we made this guide with our favorite things to do locally!
  • Are you pet-friendly?
    Our Cabin Studios have private exterior entrances, and a number of those accommodations are pet-friendly. We are happy to allow up to two (70 lb or less) canine companions in those cabins for a $50/dog/night rate increase. Please call the property directly if you have questions about booking a pet-friendly room.Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, and they must never be left in a guest room alone. Dogs are permitted only in the private exterior common areas of the property adjacent to your cottage, and they must stay on leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces.As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee per night if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.Please note town ordinances in both Kennebunk and Kennebunkport as it relates to dogs on the beaches.

  • Do you offer membership-based discounts?

    Lark Hotels is proud to offer various membership-based discounts to our guests including active and retired members of the US military. These discounts and offerings vary by property. To inquire, please contact the property directly at (207) 502-9131.Note: Only one discount can be applied per booking and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. These discounts are applicable for direct bookings only. Must call the hotel to book.

  • Where are you located?
    We're located at 34 Maine Street in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine.
  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    Check-in is between 4:00 and 7:00pm. If you'll be arriving later than 7pm, please let us know in advance so we can make accommodations. Checkout time is 11:00am. Early check-ins and late check-outs can not be accommodated at this time.
  • Do you allow children?
    AWOL Kennebunkport is an adult-oriented hotel property. While children and infants are not specifically prohibited, all of AWOL's rooms and cabins have a single King-sized bed and can only accommodate two persons, including children and infants. If you're traveling with children or a group of more than two, our Kennebunkport Captains Collection property around the corner may be better suited to your needs. Simply call AWOL directly at (207) 967-2117, so we can best help you find the right accommodations for you at our sister property.
  • How many guests are allowed to a room?

    All rooms at AWOL Kennebunkport accommodates a maximum of two persons. If you're traveling with children or a group of more than two, our Kennebunkport Captains Collection property around the corner may be better suited to your needs.   • Are you ADA-compliant?

    AWOL Kennebunkport is committed to accommodating the needs of all our guests, and we strive to provide visitors with as accessible a lodging experience as possible. Due to the architecture of the property, our guest rooms may not be accessible to all or may present challenges in providing easy and independent access. Before booking a reservation, please note that our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements. We are currently making accessibility enhancements to our website.
