  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Effective February 1, 2024 - For any reservation cancellation (excluding any bookings made on a non-refundable rate), we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival in order to receive your deposit back less a $25 cancellation fee. If any cancellation is made within 7 days of your stay, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable (though you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place).

  • Why is the rooms page showing me no available rooms for my selected date(s)?

    Two-night reservations are required on most weekends and during peak foliage season (with a three-night minimum required for major holiday weekends). This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay.   • What is there to do in the area during my stay?

    No matter the time of year, there is always a variety of things to do in Kennebunkport and the surrounding coastal area! Check out our guide of things to do locally.

  • Do you offer breakfast?

    Yes, we're proud to offer a complimentary breakfast to our guests. A variety of delicious items are available each morning across the houses (such as cut fruit, quiche or frittata, oats, pastries, and more) to start the day. Breakfast is available in each house, so you can enjoy it wherever is most convenient for you. Smaller, takeaway items are also available in the pantry at each house.

  • Do you offer WiFi, and what is the password?

    Yes! Lark Hotels is proud to offer free high-speed WiFi at all of our properties and you will receive information about logging in at check-in.

  • Are you pet friendly?

    We are happy to allow up to two 70 lb or less canine companions in a select number of pet-friendly rooms at William Jefferds House. The Jefferds Terrace King, Jefferds Studio Suite with private exterior entrance, and William Jefferds Suite are our designated pet-friendly guest rooms. Pet fees include a $50 per dog, per night rate increase. Please call the property directly to inquire about booking a pet-friendly room.

    Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, and they must never be left in a guest room alone. Dogs are permitted only in the exterior common areas of the William Jefferds House, and they must stay on leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason, dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces or at any of the other Kennebunkport Captains houses.

    As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee per night if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.

  • Do you allow children?

    While Kennebunkport Captains Collection is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in most of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. Please note our additional per person fees described below.

  • What's your policy for additional guests?

    All rooms at the Kennebunkport Captains Collection have a king or queen-sized bed and can accommodate up to two (2) persons. A third person may be accommodated in only a few of the rooms on our property (with a roll-away cot), and that additional 3rd person is subject to a $50 per person, per night rate increase. Children and infants do qualify as guests. Please call the hotel directly at (207) 967-3141 if you’re looking to book more than 2 guests so we can help you find the most appropriate accommodations.

  • Do you offer membership-based discounts?

    Lark Hotels is proud to offer various membership-based discounts to our guests including active and retired members of the US military. These discounts and offerings vary by property. To inquire, please contact the property directly at (207)967-3141.

    Note: Only one discount can be applied per booking and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. These discounts are applicable for direct bookings only. Must call the hotel to book.

  • Where can I find you on social media?

  • What times are check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is between 4:00 and 7:00pm. Checkout time is 11:00am. Departing guests are welcome to linger in our common rooms and on our grounds.

  • Do you offer parking?

    Yes! We offer complimentary parking. Please let us know if you will be traveling in more than one vehicle.

  • Are you ADA-compliant?

    Kennebunkport Captains Collection is committed to accommodating the needs of all our guests, and we strive to provide visitors with as accessible a lodging experience as possible. Due to their small size and historic nature, the buildings that make up the unique Kennebunkport Captains Collection may not be accessible to all or may present challenges in providing easy and independent access. Before booking a reservation, please note that there are exterior stairs required to enter each of the buildings, and our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to the size and nature of the properties. We are currently making accessibility enhancements to our website.
