- What is the cancellation policy? What is the cancellation policy? Effective February 1, 2024 - For any reservation cancellation (excluding any bookings made on a non-refundable rate), we must receive 7 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival in order to receive your deposit back less a $25 cancellation fee. If any cancellation is made within 7 days of your stay, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable (though you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place).

We have a three-night on all weekends in July and August along with the holidays. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay. - Do you offer WiFi and what is the password? Do you offer WiFi and what is the password? Yes! Lark Hotels is delighted to offer free high-speed WiFi at all of our properties, and you will receive information about logging in at check-in.
- Are you pet-friendly? Are you pet-friendly? Up to two 70 lb or less canine companions are permitted only in the Two Bedroom Queen Cottage - Dog-friendly, our designated pet-friendly guest room. Pet dogs are included at $50 per dog, per night rate increase. This rate increase is already reflected in the price in our online booking system when you enter one or two dogs for this 2 dog maximum occupancy lodgings. Dog owners, please note: per town ordinances, dogs are not allowed on Plum Island beaches from May 15-October 15. Please be aware that dogs are the only pets allowed, they must never be left in a guest room alone, and are permitted only on our porches and exterior common areas of the hotel, and only while on leash. While we love our pets, not all of our guests feel the same way. For this reason dogs are never permitted in interior public spaces. As a condition of reserving a room at our hotel, you agree to pay a $250.00 fee per night if any pets are found in rooms not designated as dog-friendly, or if your animal causes stains or damage to a pet-friendly guest room.

While Blue - Inn on the Beach is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in some of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. Please note our additional per person fees described below. - What is your policy for additional guests? What is your policy for additional guests? All our guest rooms have a queen or king-sized bed and can accommodate up to two (2) persons. Our online booking system will only allow you to enter more than two guests when reserving rooms that can accommodate more than two persons. The Oceanview Lark Suite, Oceanfront Cottage, One Bedroom King Cottage, and One Bedroom King Cottage with Roof Deck are priced for double (2) occupancy but can accommodate up to two (2) additional persons for a rate increase of $50 per person, per night. This rate increase is already reflected in the price in our online booking system when you enter three or four guests for these four person maximum occupancy lodgings. The Oceanfront Blue Suite, The Two Bedroom Queen Cottage, and Two Bedroom Queen Cottage - Dog-friendly are priced for four (4) person occupancy but can accommodate up to two (2) additional persons for a rate increase of $50 per person, per night. This rate increase is already reflected in the price in our online booking system when you enter five or six guests for these six person maximum occupancy lodgings.

Blue Inn on the Beach on Plum Island is committed to accommodating the needs of all our guests, and we strive to provide visitors with as accessible a lodging experience as possible. Our Inn is located directly on the sandy beachfront on Plum Island. Our unique boutique hotel property may not be accessible to all, or may present challenges in providing easy and independent access. Before booking a reservation, please note that there are steps required to enter the buildings. There is no elevator on property (though we do have ground-level rooms and cottages, all require at least a couple of stairs to enter), and our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to the historic nature of the property.
