About Field Guide Lodge

Our Stowe, Vermont hotel offers a place for both adventure and relaxation. Field Guide’s lodge-chic design is inspired by Vermont’s flora and fauna, nostalgic yet modern, romantic and a bit whimsical making it one of the best places to stay in Stowe, VT. Located in the heart of Stowe village, Field Guide Stowe is a quick stroll to boutiques and dining and a short drive to the slopes. Our property is comprised of two buildings, each with its own distinct features, but both offer updated amenities and modern design. The main building, known as the Lodge, is a fresh take on a classic ski haus with intimate double-occupancy rooms, the front desk, breakfast area, and lounge.

The Trail House, set at the back edge of the property in close proximity to the pool, houses luxe suites and cottages that make an ideal gathering spot for families and larger parties. These more spacious accommodations are in a separate building that is not connected to the Lodge. Guests are invited to gather with friends and family in the expansive guest lounge. Challenge your traveling companions to a board game, kick back with a book, peruse our collection of vintage field guides and nature magazines, or watch the fire dance in the striking stone fireplace. Our (seasonal) heated pool makes for the perfect remedy after a long day of exploring, shopping, leaf peeping, or riding a fat tire. We look forward to helping you discover Stowe, in all seasons.
