Two-night reservations are required on most weekends with a three-night minimum required for major holiday weekends and certain dates during peak season. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay. - Are you pet-friendly? Are you pet-friendly? While we welcome Service Animals, unfortunately, pets, including emotional support animals, are not permitted at our hotel. We are happy to recommend nearby kennels for use during your stay.

All of our rooms have a queen or king-sized bed and are comfortable for up to two (2) people with the exception of two (2) rooms that can accommodate a third person. All of our rates are based on double occupancy unless otherwise noted in room descriptions. Extra guests (where they can be accommodated) will be charged an additional fee of $50 per person per night, including children and infants.

While The Bow is happy to welcome well-behaved children, occupancy in most of our rooms is limited to two (2) people of any age, including children and infants. Please note our additional per-person fees described below. - Do you offer parking? Do you offer parking? Because of our central city location, The Bow, offers very limited off-street parking. The Bow has 7 guaranteed parking spots available 7 days a week for $35/night. Parking spots can be added to your reservation pre-arrival.
- What if I arrive early? What if I arrive early? You are welcome to hang out in the lounge area upstairs or at our sister property The Hotel Portsmouth until you receive notification that your room is available.
- How do I check-in? How do I check-in? You will receive a text for online check in, be sure to complete that including your vehicle information. Once your room is ready you will receive another text with your mobile key app prompt, room number, and parking space.

The Bow, located in Portsmouth, NH, is committed to accommodating the needs of all our guests, and we strive to provide visitors with as accessible a lodging experience as possible.
Our Inn is located on the third floor of a 130-year-old former brewery warehouse in downtown Portsmouth. Because we are located in a historic building, our unique ten-room Portsmouth boutique hotel may not be accessible to all or may present challenges in providing easy and independent access.
Property note: Before booking a reservation, please note that there are 12 exterior steps required to enter the building. There is an elevator once inside the main floor, but the only access to that level is by the exterior stairs, and our guest rooms do not meet ADA accessibility requirements due to the historic nature of the property.
